It's Independence Day

Everyone of us loves this Holiday - the BBQ's, fireworks in the sky, and getting together with friends and family.  I have just finished my first ecourse which I cannot begin to explain here today.  But today is the beginning, an Independence Day of the "real" me.

In the coming weeks I will be making many changes to my Blog, my Facebook pages, and creating pieces of art to share with you.  I invite you to share of yourself, and feel free to comment on what freedom and independence mean to you, what you think the coming 365 days will bring to your experience??  I'm so curious, so come on in and sit a spell or hop over to my Fan page and tell me what you're thinking?

  1. Linda, thanks so much for your sweet sweet note. I see we have some similar interests. I made a baby book for my niece who is 9 months old, but it documented the whole 9 months my sister-in-law was pregnant with her and all of the family my niece would have. i mention it briefly in one of my first posts on my blog. I think your blog is filled with such kind and loving sentiments. I'm following you to see what you have in store. enjoy your holiday!

  4. OK not sure how to post on your facebook page. How are you doing? Can't believe the class is over - I am so behind reading everything and at the overwhelmed stage but no worries - it will be ok I know. Love your bench and 'sit a spell' - sounds good.

  6. I love your blog background. It makes me so happy! And, great idea--"Me, myself and you." Why didn't I think of that? :) (I always think that when I see something I like.) Look forward to visiting often!

  7. Linda, I got your comment about the Facebook thing. I'm embarrassed to say I have no idea how I did that! I clicked on something in my FB business page sight, and it did it for me. I can't remember what the button said. i went into my business page to try to find it but couldn't. I just remember that it was a very simple step--unlike everything else I've had to learn about blogging! I hope someone else can remember on the Flyer's Group FB page!

  8. That is exciting that you want to start painting. Kelly Rae Roberts listed some good online art classes in an old post. You might want to check the list. I'll go over to her website and seee if I can find the post too. Good luck! Let me know what you sign up for because I might be interested too!

  9. Hi Linda! Thanks so much for dropping by my place. And thanks also for joining me as a Follower! I too joined you today!

It's been such a blessing connecting with all the wonderful Flyer's from Kelly Rae's class. It just so exciting sharing with other creative minds!

So pleased you love the South! But I totally agree..the Heat in these parts can definitely take your breath sometime.

Now don't be a stranger, okay. My studio door is always opened and I too plan to revisit you often!

  11. not sure what you were asking me - I rarely do html on my blog (except that I wanted to use google analytics and I tried to add the html and it did not work) except when I am copying someone's button or something like that and it usually works easily. just not my thing.
