Things are pretty much back to normal......normal???

Well I found paw prints on my keyboard so it wasn't hard to figure out who was here !!

Thank you all for all the well wishes, Miss Juliet appreciates all the attention and she is feeling much better today.  Everything in and out in the expected manner and she's full of energy again.  She returns in a couple of weeks for her distemper shots so I'm sure we'll have another difficult few days (don't tell her yet).

I'm having a GREAT weekend, first I found Margaret's blog - she lives in Arkansas which caught my eye right away because my family is all from there (my parents moved up North before I was born).  I googled Lakeview where she is and it is only 30 minutes from Yellville where my folks are from, so we'll keep in touch....that was fun.

I bet you're wondering what this box is all about....well, I'm about to turn it into a Memory Box for a special young lady named Meena.  She is a lovely teenager and her grandma is a very very good friend of mine.  I'm sure she is going to have a lot of lovely memories ahead so I want an awesome place for her to keep them.  Stay tuned, it will be quite a transformation!!  Isn't she lovely?

  2. What a wonderful idea - a Memory Box. Your friend will love it and I'm sure put it to good use. Can't wait to see it, please post a pic when you are done.

  3. If anyone knows Linda than you are so blessed. The photo of the young girl is my grand-daughter and when I read this sitting here at my desk I started to cry and just can't stop. My one and only daughter has two girls and Linda's creations are so loved by both of them. When one Christmas their gifts that Linda created got stolen they both were very sad. But Linda is more than just a crafter she is a warm, sensitive, beautiful woman and I for one love her very much.
    May God Bless You,

  4. o.k. ...now I'm crying too. The greatest GIFT of all, the most precious of ALL the things we make, are friends. Real friends like my special friend in the comment above - now that is what it's all about!! Remember to tell a friend how much they mean to you today - it changes their life and may be exactly what they needed at that moment. It's a win win!! I'm a lucky girl, too many blessings to count.
